Household Hazardous Waste Collection
The Rialto Household Hazardous Waste Collection Site is a satellite of the San Bernardino County HHW program, the first such program in the nation and is permitted to accept waste normally found in a home from all county residents.
The City operates a Household Hazardous Waste Collection site. Below we've posted information about the site. Items can be brought to:

Friday 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Saturday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Clean up Day Hours
8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Items accepted include:
- Automotive fluids
- Paint
- Cleaners
- Pool Chemicals
- Pesticides
- Batteries
- Old Medications
- Fluorescent Tubes
- Fertilizers
Unacceptable Items:
- Electronic Waste
- Medical Waste
- Business Waste
- Radioactive Waste
- Asbestos
Before transporting items, be sure that:
- The waste is in the original container or is properly labeled for your safety and the safety of our workers
- The containers are not leaking and are sealed
- The total amount of waste does not exceed 15 gallons or 125 pounds (up to 20 gallons of used oil is allowed, but in containers no larger than 5 gallons)
