Utilities Commission
The Rialto utilities commission advises and makes recommendations to the city council on problems of public relations, standards of service, acquisition and/or franchising of utilities, rules and regulations and such other problems which the city council may submit. This commission also brings to the city council matters relative to water supply, wastewater quality control, and policies affecting the utilities division’s operations which have come to their attention. This commission will also act as an advisor to the city council and city administration regarding solid waste policies, recycling, source reduction and other related state mandates.
