Development Services encompasses the Building, Engineering, Planning and Code Enforcement divisions. The Building Division enforces and administers the Uniform Building Code and other State and local building regulations. The Engineering Division assures proper infrastructure growth occurs as private land is developed. The Planning Division performs those processes and functions which result in the orderly and timely development of real property within the City in a manner that is equitable to individual property owners and to the public at large. The Code Enforcement Division focuses on keeping businesses, residences and property owners in compliance with State and local codes through abating property maintenance and nusiance issues.
