Finance Department

The Finance department is responsible for maintaining the fiscal affairs of the City, the Rialto Utility Authority and the Redevelopment Agency. This includes maintenance of the general accounting and budget records, accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable functions and providing citywide purchasing services and controls. In addition, department personnel are responsible for debt and cash flow issues and all reporting requirements.

The Finance department is responsible for processing of business and animal licenses, parking citations and other licensing requirements of the City and for processing approximately 19,000 water, sewer and ambulance accounts. Department personnel also oversee the administration of the City's worker's compensation, General liability functions and Information Technology Services.
